2009-02-18: Rotary International Convention
GTB has been requested to support the 2009 Rotary Convention. This request was made via Cheri Wegner at Marianas Electronic. More information will be announced as the event draws closer.
2009-03-02: 2009 Tumon Bay Music Festival
The 2009 Tumon Bay Music Festival is tentatively planned for March 2-13, 2009 at various venues in Tumon.
We welcome local and off-island choral, hand bell, jazz, concert bands, and ethnic music groups to participate.

2009-06-28: 2009 Australian International Music Festival
As a past Gold Awardee and Command Performance group, the Guam Territorial Band has been invited to the 20th Australian International Music Festival in Sydney Australia.
This opportunity is afforded to all current and alumni band members. Some restrictions apply.

This is Guam's first invitation to be part of this prestigious parade. Current and alumni GTB members are welcome to participate in this event. It will include side trips to various "Guam Clubs" throughout southern California.
Marchers must be in grades 7th to 12th grade fro school year 2009-2010 with at least two years playing experience. The member must be an active part of their school music program or have their band director or principal's consent if not.
